  Quick service at the Transcript office. Small office however.

  TERRIBLE SERVICE and not VET FRIENDLY. I applied and was accepted with no further information given to me other than that I need to have my transcripts sent over for evaluation. I sent all of them over 4 weeks ago. The district office still has not processed them. Then I go to records office and they tell me to get them assessed I can bring the unofficial copies to the counselors office and they can tell me what classes to take. I go to the counselors office and they refuse to counsel me and insist that I am required to go to a new student class and at that time a counselor magically receives the ability to assess my transcripts and recommend classes. She also suggests that I not attend the school because I don't seem to have everything in order (the manager there.) I take MORE time off work (still active duty) and go to this class. The counselor sits down, looks at my transcripts, and writes an education plan, (took all of 10 minutes). Then I register for classes. I get an email stating that I do not have the English prerequisite for my business class but if I have any transcripts showing college level English (I did) to call the number in the email (admissions). I called and followed the instructions and admissions says they don't do that and refer me to counselors office. I call the counselors office and they say that the counselor that made my education plan did not put in a class deferral. I told them they should have a copy of my education plan that she signed off on and took a copy of and she said I have to fax more transcripts to the district office and gave me their fax number with no phone number because obviously they will instinctively know why I am faxing these without me calling. (or she knows everyone working at city college is useless and she is sending me on a fool's errand). I am so fed up with this school. No one wants to actually help you there. I have less trouble at the DMV than getting anyone to do their job at this school.
